There’s no avoiding the importance of tools and technology for any nonprofit mission – no matter your role or organization’s size. However, even the word “Tech” is intimidating or worrisome for many who don’t feel they have the requisite training, background, or skills. The good news is, the best tools are becoming more accessible to nonprofits – all you need to do is ask.

In the session, we will demystify nonprofit tech and empower any nonprofit leader to voice their biggest challenges in their work. We invite participants to bring their biggest goals or challenges to us (traditionally tech-related or not) and we will workshop with the group how to best frame those problems and actionable ways to go about solving them. Participants should expect to be inspired to dream big about the impact they can have by leveraging the right tools and technology.

Facilitator:

Mitch Stein is the Co-Founder, CEO & Chief Impact Officer of Pond – a reimagined marketplace for nonprofit tech where the right tools find you – and pay for your time. Our goal is to put the best tools to reach any organization by lowering the biggest barriers to maximizing technology – limited time, money, expertise & trust.

Mitch is a fanatic about impact with a strong belief in the scalability of social entrepreneurship. He has spent 7 years as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs, but over the year, developing Pond has taught him that the business world has way more to learn from nonprofits than the other way around.

He is a board member for the LGBT Center of NY and leading fundraiser for Cycle for the Cause, The Northeast AIDS Ride.
