DESCRIPTION:Description:\nAre you an emotionally intelligent leader? Have you ever wondered why some leverage\, while others struggle with emotions in a business environment? The foundation and success for all effective leaders include their ability to optimize their natural talents and their ability to leverage the talents of others. IQ and business acumen are a starting point. \nYou will experience the value and downfall of “being emotional” but are you become aware of how it impacts us and those we lead? During this course\, you will move from learning to understanding and then to applying tactics and strategies to leverage emotional intelligence. \nIn this workshop you will:\n– Review the five competencies of Emotional Intelligence – Creative Tension\, Active choice\, Resilience under Pressure\, Empathic Relationships\, Self-Awareness and Control\n– Identify the skills required to develop Emotional Intelligence within themselves\n– Develop a personal plan to utilize the skills of Emotional Intelligence\n– Practice newly acquired skills\n– How to carry out and practice Emotional Intelligence in a hybrid work environment \nLearn more about our certificate programs! \nFacilitator:\n \nTirza Barnes is a Trainer\, Consultant and Conscious Leadership Teacher at Tirza Motivates\, LLC. For over two decades\, Tirza has made a significant impact in the nonprofit sector\, holding key leadership roles that include Senior Professional Development Trainer at the Brooklyn Educational Opportunity Center (BEOC) and the Grace Institute\, Director of Training at the Workforce Professionals Training Institute (WPTI)\, and Director of Training and Employee Development at Goodwill NY & NJ\, where she spearheaded training initiatives for over 8\,000 employees. During the pandemic\, Tirza took a leap of faith\, turning her long-held vision into reality by launching her own learning and development institute\, Tirza Motivates\, LLC. which she facilitates specialized peer learning programs\, each addressing key areas such as Conscious Caring Leadership\, empowerment\, and performance optimization. \nBeyond her training and consulting work\, Tirza hosts and facilitates empowerment events for women\, and is a sought-after keynote speaker at conferences and company retreats. Her presentations spark breakthroughs\, build confidence\, challenge self-limiting beliefs\, and introduce fresh perspectives for personal and professional growth. \nThroughout her career\, Tirza has worked with thousands of professionals as a trainer\, consultant\, and coach\, supporting organizational change initiatives that enhance program design and service delivery.
