SUMMARY:Transforming Together: Navigating the Human Side of Organizational Change
DESCRIPTION:Description:\nDoes your team need to go through significant change to rise to new levels of effectiveness and cohesion\, align with new leadership or strategy\, or enable new ways of working? There are\npotential minefields along the way\, in terms of change management. The history of big organizational processes in the nonprofit sector is littered with change processes that fizzled\nout\, or led to serious internal\, protracted conflict and paralysis and left staff demotivated. \nIn this session\, we discuss: \n\nwhat nonprofit leaders have learned about how humans absorb\nchange\, and\nimportant behaviors\, habits and practices leaders and managers need to maintain.\nYou will walk away with greater understanding as well as tools to support your communication\,\nmaintain staff motivation and deal with resistance as well as reactance to change.\nWe will engage in hands-on learning\, with worksheets to take away and share with your teams\,\ncase studies discussed in small groups\, and value-add handouts with extra resources.\n\nLearn more about our certificate programs! \nFacilitator:\n \nTosca Bruno-van Vijfeijken has worked on (inter)national nonprofit and philanthropy issues for 30 years\, as a speaker\, consultant\, coach\, team coach\, facilitator and author. Her work focuses on leadership development\, team coaching\, change management\, governance and organizational culture. \nWhile her practitioner background mainly was grounded in the international development sector (World Bank\, United Nations\, think tanks and nonprofits)\, her research\, senior leadership development as well as change management work has focused on cross-sectoral New York state level as well as international nonprofit\, NGO and philanthropic organizations. She is co-author of the book ‘Between Power and Irrelevance: the Future of Transnational NGOs’ and host of the podcast NGO Soul+Strategy. Tosca is a Core Practitioner at the globally renowned team coaching company Corentus. \n\n\nWe request that organizations limit their registrations to 5 participants per workshop. Please only register other people when you can provide the requested information for each participant; additional registrations under the same name will be removed.
