The Support Center currently has five scholarships available to partially cover workshop costs.
The Steve Damiano Scholarship Fund
This fund was created by the Support Center in memory of Steve Damiano, who served as Director of Professional Development at the Support Center from 2003-2011.
Who is eligible? Staff and board members of nonprofit organizations with annual operating budgets of less than $1 million dollars. Individuals not affiliated with a nonprofit organization are also welcome to apply.
How much does it cost? Scholarships cover 50% of the regular workshop fee.
- Organizations may apply for up to 3 scholarships per year.
- Individuals may apply for one scholarship per year.
- Some workshops will be ineligible for this scholarship.
How to Apply: Interested applicants must provide a brief letter of recommendation from their manager or Executive Director (if with an organization) that addresses the applicant’s commitment to professional development, as well as financial need. Individuals may write the letter themselves. Scholarship letters must be received at least two weeks prior to the workshop.
