Rachel Figurasmith is a nonprofit executive, disability inclusion advocate and long-time educator. She has served at a number of nonprofits, providing leadership to growing staff teams, stabilizing operations, piloting new program initiatives, and serving as a critical community leader. A born-and-bred New Yorker, Rachel is passionate about true inclusion in the workplace and believes that is achieved through strong, supportive leadership. In addition to teaching graduate courses on neurodiversity and coaching educational leaders, Rachel is currently serving as the Interim Executive Director of NQAPIA (the National Queer Asian Pacific Islander Alliance). Rachel holds a Masters in Education from the Jewish Theological Seminary of America, a Bachelors from Hampshire College and endlessly learns from her most difficult job of all: mothering three young children.
