Facilitator:
Kerry Pereira Watterson has raised a half-billion dollars for social impact causes, political campaigns, and commercial ventures throughout his 25 year career in public service. Before founding Fundraising Well, a certified LGBT Business Enterprise that strengthens and amplifies the impact and income of nonprofits and fundraising professionals around the world, he held leadership roles at Year Up, New York Civil Liberties Union, Kaplan Inc.’s Educational Foundation, and the University of Texas at Arlington. Kerry is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE), a BoardSource certified nonprofit board consultant, and serves as Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors for A Call to Men. Kerry teaches Fundraising Models & Resource Development with University of California-Irvine, and is a regular facilitator for the Support Center for Nonprofit Management’s executive training institutes. Kerry attended Texas Wesleyan University and University of Arizona earning two master’s degrees and received Mortar Board’s National Service Award for his work alongside Edie Windsor on the historic US Supreme Court Case, United States v Windsor, which brought about federal recognition of same sex marriages.
