Change Management

May 1, 2019 @ 9:30 am - 12:30 pm EDT

The ability to adapt and change is critical to an organization’s success. Change can be imposed on an organization from the external environment or can be initiated by an internal effort. Yet many nonprofit leaders struggle with leading change. This workshop will cover tools to help leaders speed up the pace of change.

Participants will learn to:

  • Use the Lifecycle Model to anticipate stages of evolutionary change
  • Manage the human psychological, cultural and procedural aspects of change
  • Assess the culture of their organization and understand the implications of that for the pace and strategy of managing change
  • Navigate the three distinct strategies for managing large scale organizational change
  • Approach strategic planning as a change management tool

This workshop is best suited for:

  • Executive directors
  • Senior staff members
