Strategic Planning Part 1 – Laying the Groundwork for an Effective Process

September 10 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am EDT

$55

Description:

The first of a two part series on Strategic Planning! In this first workshop we delve into how to scope your planning efforts. The biggest time crunch in completing a strategic plan is in completing the discovery work needed to make sure your plans are based on a realistic view of where you are both internally and externally. In this workshop we will share techniques for learning how to get a handle on your current and possible future states even before you develop the questions you would like your strategic plan to address. We will dig into important questions such as: What does it take to analyze your internal capabilities, program effectiveness, and external forces? How do you ask good questions (and of whom) to inform your planning? Who needs to be involved in creating your strategic plan? Whether you are ready to jump in on completing a full strategic plan or want to get a head start by creating a good foundation for when you are ready to do so, this workshop will give you the tools you need to put the right plan in place to do what is right for you right now.
