Experience: Betsy Smulyan has over 30 years experience in non-profit leadership and holds a Masters in Public Policy from the Kennedy School. She was Executive VP of BRIC, a Brooklyn cultural organization for 13 years. Since then, she has served as
Interim Executive Director of four non-profit organizations, and Interim Director of Administration for one, in areas ranging from the arts to social services and international development. She is currently serving as a nonprofit consultant. Betsy’s focus is on building infrastructure for non-profit organizations: strategic financial planning and board reporting, optimal data and information systems, human resource management systems, governance structures. She has helped organizations with
succession planning, executive search and transition.
