Ellie holds a Bachelor of Arts from Sarah Lawrence College. Ellie has been an advocate for underserved communities since 2013. Previously, she was a journalist intern for The Borgen Project. Her published work focused on non-profit organizations supporting unhoused and refugee communities. She also worked as a technical and educational assistant for NALU (Nature Activities for Learning and Understanding), part of the Pacific American Foundation based in Hawaii. Ellie hopes to continue supporting organizations that empower marginalized groups. In her free time, Ellie likes to bake, go shopping, and get brunch with friends.
