Maggie is happy to be joining Support Center as a Nonprofit Capacity Strengthening Intern through May 2025. Maggie is working on their MPA (Master’s of Public Administration) at Baruch College’s Marxe School of Public and International Affairs because they are passionate about nonprofit work and capacity strengthening. They are a recent graduate of Hunter College, holding a BA in Political Science with minors in Public Policy, English, and Theatre. Maggie is motivated by the desire to create a better, more equitable world for marginalized people. They have experience working with several nonprofits local to New York City with the goal of positive social change in mind. Maggie is eager to incorporate nonprofit capacity building into their career goals of uplifting underserved populations. In their free time, Maggie likes to crochet, sew, and play guitar!
