Leadership Resilience and Reflecting on Change
August 31, 2020 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm EDT
FreeDescription:
Join us for a conversation with Support Center’s navigators–a cadre of seasoned leaders with plenty of experience navigating turbulent leadership who now bring their talents and years of experience to help coach organizations. We’ll talk about how these navigators changed and adapted in the face of prior economic downturns and seismic shifts in the nonprofit landscape.
During this conversational and interactive session, we’ll explore a panel-style Q&A and then open up the dialogue for participants to weigh in on what resilience will look like over the next 18 months. We’ll also talk about how to grapple with the changes to come, what role leaders can take, and what we can learn from the past. We’ll also tap into recent navigator community conversations that have talked about not letting the urgent crowd out the important (and what this looks like in practice) as well as how leaders can avoid overdrawing on their “trust fund” with their teams.
In this workshop, participants will:
- Come away feeling less alone and isolated
- Hear and learn from others’ stories of resilience and change
- Identify one or two steps to take to build their own and their teams’ resilience and capacity for change
