Leadership transitions are inevitable. But rather than something to dread or avoid, they should be embraced. When organizations approach transition with foresight and intention, they turn a potential challenge into an opportunity.
This webinar will be focused on the Leadership Continuum: succession planning, interim leadership, data-driven search, and committed onboarding. By understanding and applying the Leadership Continuum, nonprofit leaders will:
Be prepared for leadership change, focusing on organizational objectives and balancing immediate needs with structured growth;
Understand the return on investment of objective assessment and analysis;
Develop a succession planning process that provides a roadmap when transitions happen;
Understand how to address the short-term organizational needs related to the loss of a leader while perparing for long-term leadership that is sustainable and agile;
Drive the process and allocate time, rather than act out of reactive urgency;
Actively partner in searches that are aligned with the organization and its stakeholders need, capabilities, and goals;
Commit to thorough onboarding, ensuring successful and productive new leadership integration.
Transition is opportunity. Be ready.
