Well at Work for Nonprofit Leaders

May 23, 2019 @ 9:30 am - 12:30 pm EDT

Mission-Driven (adjective): Grounded and motivated by a sense of purpose, often in service to a community, the environment, or the arts.

Developed from research on health in the workplace, behavioral psychology, and organizational management, this interactive workshop addresses the specific well-being needs of mission-driven workforces. With burnout on the rise, nonprofit leaders must learn to prioritize their own well-being and to empower their teams to do the same. This workshop will address the ways that work can affect our physical, mental and emotional health and teaches practical, actionable techniques that promote well-being in the workplace at both the individual and organizational level.

Participants will:

  • Learn to identify and acknowledge the signs of stress early so we can address them before we (or our teams) burn out.
  • Acquire tactics and equip ourselves with tools we can use to minimize and manage stress in the workplace.
  • Discover strategies to support our own well-being and promote a culture of physical, mental and emotional well-being at your organization.
